I got the idea to start making the First Tsurugi (a Massive Sword made up of 6 smaller swords) from the movie Final Fantasy VII : Advent Children. I won't be using metal, wood, or even plastic but Paper instead.Why paper you ask?
Because its easy to come by, simple to cut and modify without special tools, no special glue or welding is needed either, and it won't weigh a ton so it will be easy to carry.
How will I do it?
Well truth be told I won't be doing it all by myself.. a friend of mine is a very talented 3D modeler and will be helping with the designs themselves.. along with the textures. The only thing I will be doing is creating a paper pattern and assembling the model.
What size do I intend to make the Sword?
Life size.. why would I attempt any other!
